About the program
What your child experiences
Our OSC, popularly known as our before- and after-school program, provides your children with more opportunities to learn and grow. It complements what happens during their regular school day.
Our teachers, who are registered early childhood educators, make sure children in the program are active and engaged, developing healthy habits and making new friends. They plan a play-based program connected to the learning that happens during the school day, with a mix of exploration, guided and independent activities, quiet times and outdoor play.

Curriculum
Learning through play
All of our programs draw on our emergent, Reggio-inspired curriculum and Alberta’s Flight Framework.
Music
Drums, songs and new melodies woven into the rhythm of the day, shaped by what sparks the children’s interest.
Movement
Dance, yoga and obstacle courses build gross motor skills; sculpting clay builds coordination and focus.

Questions parents ask
What ages are in the before & after school care program?
This program is for children aged kindergarten to Grade 6.
What are the program hours?
Care is available Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 6:00pm, at both Calgary centres. We are closed on statutory holidays.
How do I enrol?
Complete the online registration forms for your preferred centre, book a tour, then follow the confirmation and activation steps. See the steps.
Can I visit before enrolling?
Yes. Book a tour online or call us to arrange a visit.
