Curriculum

Six learning worlds, one curious child

Our emergent, child-led curriculum is inspired by Reggio Emilia and grounded in Alberta’s Flight Framework.

Art

Art is a language of expression and discovery. Children are invited to explore a rich variety of materials—paint, clay, natural objects, recycled items—through open-ended experiences that reflect their interests and stories.

Music

Drums, songs and new melodies woven into the rhythm of the day, shaped by what sparks the children’s interest.

Movement

Dance, yoga and obstacle courses build gross motor skills; sculpting clay builds coordination and focus.

Language

Storytelling, dramatic play, shared reading and emergent writing in a print-rich environment that honours each child’s voice.

STEM

Experimenting with water and light, block play and construction challenges, measuring, sorting and patterning.

Outside Play

Daily time in nature: climbing, digging, observing insects and building with sticks and stones.
